Abstract:
This dataset displays the officially recorded property boundaries in East Baton Rouge Parish. Lot information is derived from subdivision plats, surveys, lot and block maps, ortho-imagery, and other official sources. The lot features included a variety of property related attribute information. Lots located in the City of Baton Rouge and unincorporated area of East Baton Rouge are updated on a weekly basis as new subdivisions are approved by the City-Parish Planning Commission. Lots within the cities of Baker, Central, and Zachary are updated on a periodic basis when information is obtained from the respective source. The Department of Information Services is responsible for the maintenance and update of this layer.
Purpose: To display property boundaries in East Baton Rouge Parish for base map and planning purposes.
