Abstract:
This dataset displays the major and minor stream centerlines in East Baton Rouge Parish. The layer was created using the digital elevation model (DEM), ortho-imagery, lot and block drainage maps, and data collected from field surveys. The attributes include stream index number, name, description, open or closed channel, servitude, depth, and more. The Department of Information Services is responsible for the maintenance and update of this layer.
Purpose: To display stream segments within East Baton Rouge Parish for use in environmental planning, stormwater management, and base map purposes.
