Mayor Holden To Present Strategic Plan and Implementation Team for FUTUREBR Recommendations

WHAT:Presentation of the FUTUREBR Strategic Implementation Plan

WHEN: Tuesday, October 25, 2011, 10:00 a.m.

WHERE: Old State Capitol House Chambers

WHY: Now that the FUTUREBR Plan was unanimously adopted by the Metro Council, Mayor Holden will announce the FUTUREBR Implementation Team who will work with the Mayor to coordinate city-parish departments in the implementation of the FUTUREBR Plan and develop funding mechanisms for plan priorities. National planning consultant John Fregonese will present the FUTUREBR team’s recommendations to the Mayor-President for priority, near-term implementation of the FUTUREBR Comprehensive Plan.
