COUNCILWOMAN BANKS-DANIEL RE-ELECTED TO FRATERNAL BENEFIT SOCIETY

Metro Councilwoman Chauna (Berry) Banks-Daniel, was recently re-elected as a 2013 Mississippi-Louisiana Branch Councillor for ForestersTM, a fraternal benefit society that has been helping families live for today, plan for tomorrow and make a difference along the way.

Foresters, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the Foresters Family of Companies operates in three countries through Foresters and its subsidiaries in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom Divisions.

Branch Councillors are the link between members, communities and their Branch Council; Branch Councillors assist in ensuring that local Branch programs meet the needs of members. At Foresters, the company doesn’t have shareholders – they exist to serve the needs of its members and to give back to the communities where they live.

Branch Councillors take a leading role in supporting and supervising Foresters local community activities through its Branch Satellites, volunteer projects and member activities. A Branch Satellite is a group of two or more members who have organized a local community project to fulfill Foresters purpose and received funding from the Branch.
