Mayor Holden Announces Government Street Redesign

Dedicated Left-Turn Lane and Bike Lane from I-110 to Lobdell Planned

Mayor-President Melvin “Kip” Holden announced today that Government Street will be the first major roadway to benefit from being transferred from the State to the City-Parish, with a redesign aimed at improving safety and increasing redevelopment potential.
