Baton Rouge Among Nine Pilot Sites Selected for Program to Aid Low-income Youth

Baton Rouge is one of nine pilot sites selected by the federal government for a new program designed to test innovative new strategies to improve outcomes for low-income disconnected youth ages 14 to 24.

The interagency Performance Partnership Pilots for Disconnected Youth (P3) initiative is aimed at youth who are in foster care, homeless, young parents, involved in the justice system, unemployed, or who have dropped out or are at risk of dropping out of school.
