More than $600,000 in grant money available to weatherize EBR homes
Program gives preference to applicants over 60, those with disabilities and families with children
The City-Parish Office of Community Development has received $619,440 in grant money to weatherize East Baton Rouge homes for households that meet certain income limits. This year’s grant amount is about three times more than was available last year, according to Jamie Mabile, Urban Development Director for the Office of Community Development.
