Abstract:
This dataset displays the address points and attribute details for East Baton Rouge Parish. Per the Plan of Government, addresses assignment responsibilities are assigned to the City-Parish Department of Development. However, those responsibilities have been delegated to the Department of Information Services. Within the municipalities of Baker, Central and Zachary assign their own addresses and share the data with the City-Parish. The information includes attributes that are not address components but are instead related to address location and assignment. The Department of Information Services is responsible for the maintenance and update of this layer.
Purpose: To display street address points for base map, emergency management, planning, analysis, geocoding, and location finding purposes within East Baton Rouge Parish.
