Function

Protect the Health and Safety of the Community by reducing the population of mosquitoes and rodents and overseeing the 1.2 millage property tax for mosquito and rodent abatement. Parish Health Unit and Farm Agent appointees are selected from a list of 3 names submitted by each entity. Meets every 3 months and/or special session. DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A FARMER/RANCHER.
