Has the exclusive responsibility for the provisions of Park and Recreation facilities in East Baton Rouge Parish. The Mayor-President, School Board, and Planning Commission appointments serve terms that coincide with their terms of office. The commission meets on the 4th Thursday of each month @ 5 p.m.
